Austin Music School was founded by Michael David Garcia in 2018. Born and raised in Austin, TX, Michael has been playing shows in the local music scene since 1996. His passion for performing music eventually combined with his joy for seeing others succeed. In 2010 Michael began his journey and founded Out of this World Music School in Pflugerville, TX. A family oriented school, Out of this World has a reputation for providing a fun and safe environment for families to experience the wonderful world of music. Out of this World opened it’s second location in North Austin in 2015 which then served the community as Austin Music School. In late 2020 Austin Music School closed it’s physical doors but still continues to offer online virtual music lessons.
Michael also has a passion for providing career opportunities for local music teachers. His ability to connect people through music has grown to include a staff of 12 of the finest music educators in the area. All of the teachers in this Music School support each other and strive to see each other succeed. Austin Music School is one of the best places to grow and refine your passion for music.
